PRINCE ADEROPO

Prologue:

In the quest for inner peace
And a bid to be set free
How far can a man go to seek his?
To be or not to be?

A tale of a troubled crown prince
Who seemed to have it all
Rage and anguish ever since
Father Dowling's midnight call

A good looking educated young chap
With high hopes and ambitions too
Alas!all cut short in an unfortunate mishap
With nothing more to do

The Prince has an endearing charm
So much more for us to see
But his alter ego comes with harm
Devastating as far as can be

Six years of agony and pain
A heavy burden for a prince so dear
Lost in a dark and lowly terrain
With so much more to bear

In the sleepy town of Akote
Not so long ago in time
Series of murders and disarray
A distaste and hideous crime

The king called in his wise men
But they were at a loss as well
About the mayhem happening then
Only time will tell

In comes inspector Danladi Waziri on a quest
To solve the mysteries at hand
And face the tedious test
To help salvage the land

On that fateful october day
Miss Tawa's smiles turned into screams
But Agbekoya led rescue her way
That night was not as calm as it seems

Epilogue:
The day is October one
Our dear prince heaved his last sigh
And the final resting place he has gone
Leaving us in tears, you and I...
